Why can't female and male condom be used together?

Hehe... for once a catchy title! Caught you by surprise? You'd be thinking what...??!!

Well, this week we are learning reproduction. Male and female anatomy and physiology in general. For our PBL session (sort of group discussion over some issues), we discussed the female physiology, some hormones function, pregnancy test and of course, contraception!

What a coincidence all of us were of one mind ... well, conservative. All the non-Malays were STPM students. So like you guessed it, all innocent. The rest were 4 Malay girls - nothing more to say... And the facilitator? A Sri Lankan GP. You should know, Indian and Sri Lankan doctors gotta give contraceptive talk and demo as their country's population is soaring high.

So, when we got to the part, the group member who did the research and was doing her presentation, I can't help but notice she was blushing. She was laughing for no apparent reason that we can't help but giggle along. Finally she admitted that while she was doing the research, she was exposed for the very, very first time. She was reluctant to mention how the contraceptive device would affect intercouse.

Here's were I got my blog title today. The lecturer mention that he was asked by a Sem 4 student. Gosh! So, anyone with any logical reasons?

Well, 'common intelligence,' as he started... 'will tell you that there will definitely be friction.' 'Taught of that already.'
Then the group member mentioned above chipped in that she came to know with condom the male has no sensation... there you have second reason.

The faci then add in his experience in Sri Lanka as a GP advicing couples on birth control. It'll bring you to laughter!
Eg. He always had to show how the male condom should be used by putting it into the middle finger. Then one day, a couple came and inquired why the wife was pregnant. The reason? He used the condom on his middle finger!
Another couple had the same scenario. But he always cut off the excess condom!
