When the waves receed..
The elections this year has indeed brought up many issues. After the political tsunami swept our country, the waves have begun to receed. What has been left along the coast were dirt and mud...
The local governments have begun sorting out their issues and the new cabinet has been announced. Evaluations and analysis were made. Some leaders have stepped up to take responsibility while some heroically (or stubbornly) remained in the driver's sit. New resolutions are made, while promises are being attempted to be fulfilled. How much residue from the tsunami can be cleaned? Do we really want to dig up some painful memories? How much restoration can be made? What's in-store for our nation this coming years?
Admist all these uncertainties, we can hope. We can interceed for our nation. Because we know, despite the obvious, that powerful men (and a few women) are at the top post, there is a higher Authority over Malaysia and the world who places men in history and knows all things.
God bless Malaysia, tanahair kita, tanah tumpahnya darah kita.
