Heavenly Host Rejoice

This morning woke up as usual, prayer & devotion and breakfast. Pastor Sandra had arrange for us to meet Mr. Tilok at 3pm.

Mr Tilok (Hong Teck Lim) is from Penang, studied in Chung Ling and is now 80yrs. From nothing he worked hard to make a name for himself. Now, he owns the Tilok Group which built and owns at least 3 hotels in Phuket, the Robinson store etc. He made many donations including a piece of land to the government to built a market. I believe he's one of the richest people here

His 1st son, Chalorn, 48 studied in the US where he met his wife. both met the Lord Jesus and attend Hope of Phuket International where Pastor Matee and Sandra are pastoring. He is the director of one of his father's hotels where he rented out a hall with special rate for the church. A simple man who really wants to see his family come to know our Lord Jesus...

Suddenly got an sms from Joseph bout 9.30am... Ah Siong has received the Lord! We rejoiced in our room... one more soul has found an eternal peace and joy.

After departing with him last wed, dad met him again on Sat. Thru an amazing turn of events, Dr. Roy had some Chinese tracks. When he was in Mcca last month, dad brought him to Canaan Home, a small bookstore opened by a Christian to sell Christian materials. Cherntalay church is going to open a bookstore in Phuket town and Roy was scouting for ideas. So he got some stuff from Canaan Home. Since he is also working in China, dad gave him some Chinese tracts. So, instead of those tracts going to China, it became useful even in Phuket.

Mom and dad both shared some Hokkien songs- 'aint it grand' and 'hold my hand'. Ah Siong promised to learn by heart the 1st song on Sat when dad gave him the printed lyrics.

Ah Siong has really gone thru many tough times and we believe even with this step of knowing the Lord, he'll find the answer in Him and be a testimony to others.

Back to Mr. Tilok, it wasn't God's timing. Really hardened man but we gave word to the son to pray for him everyday till we returned to meet him again.
