Jesus loves even the prostitutes

Hope of God Phuket Pastors: Matee & Sandra.
This husband & wife team have been in Phuket island for more than 10years & established Hope churches in Phuket town, Patong & Talang. They are in the midst of planting another in Chalang, all within this island.

One amazing testimony arose in the Patong Church. But let me explain the background of this church(as I did in my blog in Mac'06)...

Patong is famous in Phuket not only for its beautiful beach, white sand & blue waters; but also for its availability of cheap imitation (including illegal 'weapons') goods & night life- cabarets, pubs and of course sex.

But known also was the 2004 tsunami which wiped out the entire coastline...

Ps. Sandra had a burden then to reach out to the people of Patong & so started a church in one of the hotel halls. She picked up English in such an incredible pace to conduct a bilingual service. People from all walks of life came. Hotel workers from many parts of SEA & Thailand including the hill tribes, Philippino musicians & farangs. Farangs are the westerners. Some came for holiday while others are on longer term: retirement, winter break or 2nd home (with a Thai 2nd wife unknown to their family back home).

Recently she ventured into the pubs in the wee hours to speak to some girls who sell themselves for financial gain. She told them Jesus loves them...
"Jesus loves me?! Even me like this?"
"yes of course.."
One after another just broke down & gave their heart to God.
Now 4 are attending Sunday Service in Patong. The church is now praying to be more effective in this outreach.

Jesus loves everyone... not only those who are good & religious, but especially sinners. Jesus said He came to save those who are lost(Luk19:10)... for those who require a physician are the sick, not the healthy. So no matter what your past may be, what you may be doing now, Jesus accepts all as we are. For all my brothers & sisters, lets not be quick to judge for Jesus said he hate not the sinners but their sins.
