looking for house in $eremban
didn't know it was quite a headache.. let me recall..
as of last friday, I knew Chee Koon & Co. got a house in Seremban, double storey, RM600, 5 minutes drive from hospital. So on Friday morning, we left to scout around the town... Ernest driving, Tek Jee co-driver, Kealynn, Chiat Yin, Sabena and myself.
Well I contacted the same agent as Chee Koon did... and mind, weren't we surprise to see the condition of the house she showed us.
The 1st was a double storey, pretty large with 4rooms and LOTS of touch up & cleaning to do before we could move in - RM600
2nd: kinda tiny, smaller than KKB.. 3rd room was small enough only to fit a bed and cupboard/table. cramp neighbourhood - RM350
3rd: shocker- a haunted house!!! well, she said that it was OLD, and 5 nurses used to stay there. told her that we wouldn't want to see it, but she insisted...so...
the door was the old-faashioned folded wooden door. The floor was dark red cement downstairs and wooden upstairs! The corrider inside was looonngg and creepy..mind, mind, "No wonder the nurses are always in a bad mood in hospital" Tek Jee said.
Kinda giving up on her, we told her to show Garden Avenue. Was recommended by a lecturer. So of we went..
4th house: Single storey bungalow, 3 rooms, tight security, no gates or fence, nice landscape...hmmm...was really tempting - RM 650
Finally, the 5th house of the day: Bkt Kepayang, double storey, 4 rooms, presentable, Chinese neighbours. almost decided on it - RM600
So after 5 houses, we returned to KL where we realized it wasn't difficult to choose where to stay as IMU is isolated in Bkt Jalil and Vista Komanwel is the only considerable option - RM1100 and above per unit.
Sunday, 2 days later. In church
Chiat Yin called...come to Seremban now...will pick you from KTM. and so, my 2nd trip.
6th House: a single storey bungalow, 5 rooms, BIG compound, NEAR hospital. Walking would take 3mins to the hospital, maybe 5mins to IMU - RM1000
Then Minoo called: hey, why not consider Seremban 3?
"There is a Seremban3?" Kinda surprise, as we almost spent the whole Friday going around Seremban 2 and a bit of Seremban.
Chiat yin and I were so impressed we could almost decide right then that THERE is where we were staying. Call heaps of hp numbers. Many failed, succeeded in some..
So, Tuesday came. Again off to Seremban- Ernest and his dad, Sabena, Chiat Yin and myself.
Well, we met another agent who showed us 4 houses...All together seen more than 10 houses. and well, we havent even got 1 at hand now! heard some groups made a trip ONCE and they straight away decided.. sigh..sigh... why??
complicated, including some "survivor style- save my own *** " plans... don't wanna be cheated...hard to reach a consensus...my top 3 reasons why I'm still "homeless" in Seremban.
